Annual Giving

As an independent school, tuition and fees cover a portion of the cost to educate each child; they do not cover the full cost needed for salaries, improvements, maintenance, etc. Other sources of support include fundraising, development and miscellaneous donations.

The school depends on parents and the St. A’s community to provide financial support and/or volunteer hours to help bridge the gap between the cost of tuition, and the actual cost of educating each child. Contributions toward annual fundraising and development impact our school. We appreciate every gift.

Invest in Kids Act

Are you aware of the Invest in Kids Act that provides low-income students with scholarships of up to 100% of tuition and fees for private school attendance? There are two groups who can benefit from this opportunity: those who wish to claim the tax credit through the IRS and those who wish to apply for a scholarship. Detailed information on both of these opportunities can be found here on the Archdiocese of Chicago website. If you currently receive financial assistance in the form of scholarship from our school, and you meet the income requirements for the tax credit scholarships, it is requested that you apply for this prior to applying for aid directly from the school. This is an opportunity for us to stretch our available assistance further to reach more families. Thank you.
