School Trips
Taking advantage of excursions in and around Chicago exposes students to animals and nature, team-building and cultural day trips. With an emphasis on two foreign language experiences, St. Athanasius also organizes overseas-trips in junior high. Examples include:
- Kindergarten: Wagner Farm — Barn Day with Animals
- Units A & B: Didier Farm — Pumpkins & Hayride; Museum of Science and Industry; Shedd Aquarium
- Unit C: Camp Timber-lee Overnight (Grade 5) — Team-Building & Outdoor Education
